The Togre are known to the colonists. The tribal almost troll like giants once roamed the planet before the first Federation colonists arrived decades ago. Now much smaller in numbers, they still pose a formidable force based upon their size alone.
The Togre drove the Klingons from the Villa in exchange for a favor conducted by Commander T'tan towards their leader Tokken. Tokken is now called on once more by T'tan. The Togre have been asked to move into the Hills above Tokyo to keep ground forces from either side from spreading the civil war and to keep the Birds of Prey from entering from Osaka. They will help maintain at least a semblance of peace while the air war is decided. The colony is in its darkest hour and now these demons mark its very existence.
Nicole met with Commander T'tan in Omega Prime. She looked at T'tan, "At whose request did the Togre become involved."
"At my request, Madame Vice President. This is getting out of hand. We need to slow the advancement of the civil war. The Tamarians will fear the Togre. The Talosians will fear the Togre. This will slow the Tamarians building a ground war and this will slow any attempt by the Talosians to retalliate.", T'tan explained.
"Why would the Togre do this for us?", Nicole asked. She herself feared the giant and mysterious tribesmen.
"We have an understanding.", T'tan explained.
"How would that actually work?", Nicole was actually curious. The Togre were over seven feet tall.
T'tan looked at Nicole, "Some girls like the big ones...."
"He is a troll.", Nicole blurted back, disgusted twofold. One by the thought a large male member being a homosexual and two by the facial appearance of the Togre.
"He has the heart of a poet.", T'tan responded.
"And now he is protecting your colony.", T'tan thought of her hero.
"It will buy us some time to think.", T'tan continued.
"I have to go back. Viceroy will need all of his staff.", T'tan stood up to leave.
Nicole watched as the Vulcan left. She hoped that this was the right move.
