General Hon'Tihl Kabarann has been a lot of things on the colony. She has been a villainous military commander who tormented Nicole Branson. She has been a murderous liaison for the Primatos Hunt. She has been a popular Governor and lately she has been a survivor.
General Hon'Tihl Kabarann has seen two Retarnee Invasions. One turned her suburbs into a burned out mess and the second left her city without anything. Destroyed!
On June 17, 2391, the Klingon Empire declared the Territory Kalama on the Primatos Reserve as independent from the Phoenix Federation. The Romulan Empire did the same thing with the city of Rome here on the colony and have been able to survive these invasions and survive Nicole Branson, William Hunt and President Erica Lavigne-Hunt pissing off their neighbours.
In a surprising move, Colonel Acrylos Teero was on site with his infamous industrial replicators to help with the reconstruction beginning an era of association between the Klingons and the Phoenix Colony. The relationship also seemed repaired by the seperation.
It also marked the first time that Commander Elora Vasa and Admiral Vincent Viceroy had worked together since the revelation that Viceroy had been with Brooklyn Paneera. Both were very professional.
Lavender Coren and Nicole Branson flew over but Governor Branson did not put down. She and Honey have had a very tenuous relationship.
The good news is the Klingons are back up and running. Colonel Teero brought Bill Clinton from the capital to help get the Truteum production up and running. The Klingons have promised to increase their presence in and around the colony with the new city being built. The truth is the Phoenix Federation is too small to stand up alone against the Retarnee.
Alliances have formed with the United Federation of Planets and now the Klingons. Praetor T'Ros of the Romulan Empire has also pledged to protect non-Retarnee assets in the region.
It is almost ironic that Nicole Branson's dream of a place for all races to call home may come about not because of anything done on the colony but instead because of the menacing presence of the Retarnee.
