Admiral T'Ora addressed the regional command at Ephyra after rumors persisted that the Trill Council would support retaliatory action by the King's Fleet. Admiral Vincent Viceroy has asked Star Fleet permission to attack the Cardassian Union under Legate Anwar over the brutal attack on Dr. Lasiter Lau that resulted in the death of one of the great Medical Minds of the 24th century.
T'Ora lashed out at Governor Nicole Branson and Admiral Vincent Viceroy with a viceral attack about their incompetence and their failure to protect Dr. Lau. She was very upset as she left the podium in a rage.
Captain S'Nii and Lindsay Viceroy had agreed to attend the gala as the King's Fleet wanted its most senior Vulcan officer on hand to show support for Admiral T'Ora. S'Nii nodded at T'Ora believing the simple nod would show support even as T'Ora had trounced her superiors.
T'Ora shouted at S'Nii that she was not really a Vulcan. She called her relationship with Lindsay Viceroy a joke and started to walk away. Lindsay was deeply hurt. She stormed from the room.
S'Nii chased after her love. She grabbed her hand and told her that she would be honored to have her at her side. Lindsay did not want to but S'Nii convinced her to attend the Vulcan gala in honor of Admiral T'Ora. Lindsay would have been content to return to the Diana with a wimper but S'Nii, a notorious officer in the King's Fleet refused to give T'Ora the satisfaction.
S'Nii convinced Lindsay to appear in traditional Vulcan robes. She wanted to make an impression. Admiral T'Ora was not amused. S'Nii only chuckled and took Lindsay out onto the varenda and looked out at the stars. There is no stopping the King's Fleet officers. They do what they want when they want.
