Libby could see Nicole was struggling. The meetings with General Kabarann had become very stressful. The Klingons are now using the Black Orchid incident in an attempt to limit Federation access into the Beta Zeta Sector.
The King's Fleet has spent so much effort on the Destiny Araay and the Monument. The fleet was relevant and now the Klingon blockade, a tactic used with the Tellarites in the Tellar System, has put the potential benefits aside.
Nicole really needed a way to relieve some stress. On the previous evening, Libby tried to massage her neck. Nicole just shrugged away. Nicole had taken Libby back in and the pair even shared a bed but they are hardly a couple. Nicole was very hurt by the last betrayal. It will take a lot to restore their sexual relationship.
Libby hardly slept because Nicole tossed and turned so much. She laid in bed as Nicole got up to shower. At least for a few minutes, she could grab some zees. Libby listened as Nicole tried to wash the stress away. Sometimes there just isn't enough water. Nicole stepped out of the shower and out into the drawing room.
Libby had her chance. She made her move. Nicole tried to pull away. Libby was not going to let her get away this time.
Nicole needed some stress relief and Libby had a lot of making up to do.
