The plan was simple. Keep Betsy so busy as the First Lady of the United Federation of Planets and then keep her away from Nicole so her features become more Bovidae like. Use the prejudice both on Tellar Prime against the non-Tellarite like Branson Beauty Bovidae, a former slave race to expose the same bigotry in Nicole. When Nicole rejected the Bovidae appearance of Betsy Bose, the media could use this to bring down her presidency or at least render her as Abraham McDonald, a useless figurehead.
Betsy stood on the holodeck waiting for Nicole to come. Her tail wagged a bit and her snout was very prominent and visible. It was only a matter of time before her utter reappeared. Nicole walked in. She too had been so busy as the President with the inauguration and other commitments, she had had no time for Betsy.
She looked at her true love and walked over and kissed her deeply on the mouth. It was just not going to be that easy for her detractors.
