In a universe where all things are possible, a swine became the progenitor of the dominant species on Tellar prime. The reality of this is very difficult to understand. Why is it a chimpanzee on Earth, a lizard on Gorn or a snake on Selay?
It is a difficult concept but having Jackie explain it makes it a lot easier to take.
Nicole sat in the back of the room as Sonjaca Naar'Haaj talked about the primitive swine struggling to reach the fruit and the movement towards walking upright.
"Maybe that is why you Tellarites are so crotchety.", One of the students muttered.
Nicole walked up. Jackie interrupted her before she could speak, "Your evaluation of the lecture Madame chancellor?"
"You know that is not why I am here.", Nicole frowned.
"Why? Is Beatrice in this biology class.", Jackie's words were very hurtful. She had her father's tongue.
Nicole turned to walk away. Jackie looked at her but did not speak.
