On May 26, 2395, President Alexander Laree and Admiral Illyan Coren agreed to the Federation Klingon Peace Alliance and agreed not to intervene in the buffer states control by generals loyal to Chancellor Lupac Kabarann.
Admiral Gareb Trmel had been a trusted advisor to Chancellor neroQ and brokered the negotiations between Chancellor Lupac Kabarann and President Laree but Gareb stood up as the Klingon and the Betazoid shook hands.
"You have just signed the death certificates for the King's Fleet and their colonists!", Admiral Trmel announced.
On May 27th, 2395, the IKS Hon'Tihl Kabarann led a large Klingon Task Force that obliterated the stations of the King's Fleet and committed a horre do act of genocide that would have rivalled the horrors of the devastation at Cheron VI; the first Camelot.
The once proud city of Camelot, its immaculate suburb of Camden Yards with its amazing winter buildings, the gorgeous outlying homes of Jaskalla Naar'Haaj Naar'Ngan and the Klingon rebel base at Reykja Qam'Chee were destroyed in the devastation.
The Younger Academy and the hospital at RopyaH Qach were left ablaze to burn in tribute to the once mighty colony. The death toll will be in the tens of thousands and though there was some exodus, many of the ships in the fleet were commandeered and boarded. In most cases, the command staffs were paraded in front of the crew and murdered in tribute to Chancellor Kabarann. No one stands against the empire. No one.
Why would anyone follow the leaders of the King's Fleet, either under Admiral Vincent Viceroy on the military and exploration side or Nicole Branson on the civilian and colonization side? These two leaders are death mongers who have ruined careers in their loyalty to these explorers.
Maybe it is over. Maybe.
