Dr. T'Waak, whose experimental research formed the foundation for Branson Beauty and even Branson Beauty itself has one fatal flaw. If the humanoid hormones are not kept active, the more powerful underlying DNA becomes active once more.
Commander Dawn Keystone is one of these experiments. She has the strength of a burrow. She has become a great first officer and the perfect partner for Captain John Warren.
Unfortunately under the constant threat of Zaranite attack, the Quasar Quest has been so busy on patrols that John and Dawn have had no opportunity to be together.
In fact on the current shift, with John busy with the enlisted staff, Dawn had been on the bridge for twenty straight hours. Her battle fatigue and her hormonal imbalance lead to a very embarrassing display. Dawn collapsed to the floor in fatigue and messed on the floor.
Dawn stood up and suddenly started sobbing. She ran from the bridge.
Dawn needed to get cleaned up. She showered and went to get her hair done. She was sitting in the salon when John finally found her.
Dawn looked at John, "I have decided to join the engineering custodial staff."
The T'Waakian hybrid looked at the floor. John smiled, "You already have a job."
He extended his hand to his embarrassed First Officer.
