Part of the efforts to staff 5 vessels was to fill the King’s Fleet Academy at Reykja Penthe. Having the Selayan, Chancellor Hadrian in charge might not have been the best recruitment tool either.
In the glory days of the founding fathers, there were the humans, the Vulcans, the Andorians and the Tellarites. The pig like Tellarites had a place of prominence. They however lost that place over time. When the King’s Fleet was reborn and a pure accident involving a chance meeting between Nicole Branson and Dr. Peneleaus Prang’Laar as the pediatrician was having a looking at Nicole’s daughter and the King’s Fleet began a long and often dangerous association with the Tellarites.
When the Klingon Prison Ship crashed, the Tellarites learned that this may be an opportunity to reboot their involvement in Star Fleet. The Tellarites began sending students to the Academy. The loyal people would be valuable additions on the ships of the King’s Fleet and it would also give them a political inroads to becoming influential in the Federation once more.
The trouble is having 7000 students is feeding them. The achievements of Admiral Tan and Admiral Deveniss in bringing the Nicole Branson Industrial Replicators online is amazing but using these replicators to refit 5 starships, 2 stations and a colony made it impossible to feed 7000 students.
I am proud of my role as the Federation News Network Observer on Reykja Penthe and I take no pleasure in exposing how the students were being fed. He is known as the Butcher of boH. The word boH is Klingon for fire. He has been responsible for repackaging the Klingon Targh into something more palatable for the students to eat.
It was positively revolting to see the pig like Tellarite Paagu Brontonius butchering the pig like Targh. He could resculpt the meat into steaks, burgers or other human like foods. He was a master.
The truth is the students had to eat.
