Taryn looked at S'Nii, "You can't be serious."
The newly annointed Captain of the Providence looked at Colonel Strausser, "Yep, the Governor has asked that Peace Support troops be stationed outside Tokyo including the Special Forces."
"The war was over a month ago, what the hell?", Taryn looked at S'Nii.
"There is only one explanation. The Governor is an idiot.", S'Nii explained.
The Dragon Drop Ship plunked down in the trees near Tokyo. The first day was fun as the crew got used to the track driving drop ship playing around but there is no war here. The Tamarians are trying to get their infrastructure back functional. They are trying to meet the production quotas raised by Governor Ishka.
Tanus and Evangeline did some scenario training on the third day but even that became boring. Tanus was on the ship in the afternoon cleaning the weapons and Evangeline went out to sit down for a bit. Tanus came out a little later to find the Special Ops Officer sitting in the grass near the ship.
Tanus looked at Evangeline, "Comfortable?"
Evangeline looked up, "Yes, sir."
Tanus sat down next to her. Evangeline slowly moved her hand over and top of his claw. Evangeline had a little fling with Giancarla Viceroy but she had not really had a relationship. Somehow, someway, she felt safe with Tanus.
