Vincent was struggling with the politics of Starbase 234. The Federation was making new demands about Dilithium and refusing to comment on previous arrangements actually brokered by the Betazoids.
Admiral Veltkamp and Commodore Viceroy had been meeting with them almost constantly since arriving in the Amanda Corridor. The colony needs to establish relationships in its new location if it is to survive. Nicole had gone to New Terra a couple of times to set up arrangements to help with the rebuild from the Klingon war there.
Vincent came home exhausted. He just wanted a shower and bed. He peaked in on Baby Nicole. Nicole Viceroy, his daughter by his beloved Bobbi-Lee was asleep in the bed.
He could not see Olivia anywhere. He walked into the living room. His green haired beauty was on the couch.
Vincent smiled. Olivia looked up at her man, "I think you could use a little release from reality."
