The Romulan and Klingon Empires have always been able to threaten the tiny Phoenix Federation, the demilitarized Amanda Corridor and the Phoenix Colony with their size and power.
These great empires have used the colony as a pawn in their squirmishes with the Phoenix Federation and have been able to focus their attention and their energies on bringing down President Hunt and his Federation. This focus has been predicated on the stability of their own governments.
Now as 2391 begins, the Romulan and Klingon Empires have new troubles of their own. The outer realm worlds of these empires are suddenly thrust into political unrest caused by their own internal fighting and the appearance of a new enemy, a new player ~ The Retarnee.
Very little is known about this group other than their recent attempts to make inroads in the region, to make inroads in the Klingon and Romulan Empires and now even to worlds on the fringe of United Federtion of Planets Space.
Our enemies are now asking questions. Our enemies are now asking for refueling opportunities and increased Omega Enriched Dilithium, Trilithium and Truteum production to power their ships in defence of these outer territories.
