Vincent had gone to D'Solos and demanded it. General John Smith was only too happen to make this happen. The USS Wrath of Prometheus is a very special ship in the history of the colony. The Wrath of Prometheus and the original Archangel were the first ships to arrive from New Terra in the re-formation of the King's Battlegroup joining the legendary USS Quasar Quest in the protection of the centerpiece of the Phoenix Federation.
The ship contains the hull of the original USS Wrath of Achilles, the very jewel of the Phoenix Federation whose legend would rival the Quasar Quest and even the Enterprise itself. After the end of the Hellraisers' task group, the Prometheus was to be a monument to the great history of space flight in the Phoenix Federation. It had been open to the populace but in light of the recent attacks of the Cetuin on Nequencia and H'Atoria, Commodore Vincent Viceroy petitioned Governor D'Solos Vreenak to commission the refit.
Upon hearing the word, Captain S'Nii offered her services to Captain John Warren and Commodore Tan. She wanted a new chance to get back into space. Perhaps the third times a charm for the beautiful Vulcan. John and Tan have agreed to allow her to assume command of the refit.
One had to know that Commander Lindsay Viceroy would stand as her second. Captain S'Nii then asked Major Zoe Beamon and her Zombies, one of the most feared units in the region to join the crew. Major Beamon will serve as the Tactical officer on the bridge as well as command her Zombies. Zoe is fresh off heroic service to the Phoenix Defence League on the Primatos Reservation. The Zombies have acquitted themselves well against the best marines in the business including the Dragons, the special forces unit of Major Tanus of Gorn and the Dogs of War themselves, under the command of Colonel Belvedere Brown. The Prometheus is in good hands with them at her guard.
Delilah Blue is the recent Andorian addition to the colony. Her expertise is well known but her shy demeanor has made her a bit of an outsider. She jumped at the opportunity to leave the Dr. Leonard McCoy Institute and return to space and a chance to make a name for herself.
The final addition to the crew was a bit of a surprise. Anora looked at Thua'ra, "Its only an operations position, Gul Varno."
"But it is a chance to return to space.", the Cardassian responded.
"You are better than this, Thua'ra.", Anora begged.
"I need to get back out there.", Varno responded.
"If you go, you go without me.", Anora responded.
"Anora, please.", Thua'ra begged for support from his Bajoran love.
"I am an astronaut.", Varno looked at Anora.
"You have everything here in Boston. Why do you have to go?", Anora started to cry.
"I have to be in space. It is who I am.", Varno looked at Anora. The Cardassian left the room alone.
Thua'ra Varno sat at the helm of the USS Wrath of Prometheus in Jersey, Territory Omega on the Phoenix Colony. Captain S'Nii walked out on to the bridge, "Gul Varno, are we ready?"
"We are go for launch.", Thua'ra smiled.
S'Nii looked at Lindsay, "Would you like to say something, Commander?"
"It is your ship, Sunny.", Lindsay grinned.
"That it is.", S'Nii grinned, "That it is."
"The launch quote is yours.", Lindsay pointed at her lover.
"In honor of President William Hunt, in tribute to Rear Admiral Vermont Viceroy and to other great commanding officers of this great ship, I will say only this. I will do my best to do her proud.", the Vulcan smiled.
"Here... Here...", Lindsay raised her fist.
