Monty was on Governor's Station to meet with Admiral Dominic Montgomery. The Federation has continued to require more information about who is living in Wells City. The option of a retirement community in the Phoenix Federation has always been a source of concern for the United Federation of Planets.
Having Star Fleet officers chose to live amongst the rebels has never been a source of great joy amongst the Admiralty. The community was built in tribute to Admiral William Wells whose service to Star Fleet was never in question.
Many officers have chosen to retire on the colony because of the outstanding construction of Colonel Acrylos Teero of Bajor and the work on peaceful co-existence completed by Nicole Branson and more recently by the Romulan D'Solos Vreenak.
Dominic was here looking for a manifest or civilian census. Monty was not about to provide such a document. The movement of the USS Washington into the demilitarized zone served to bring everyone to attention.
Commodore Tan informed Commodore Viceroy and Captain John Warren about the movement of Commodore Paige and the USS Washington. John was furious with the actions of the Federation. The only ship not on patrol was the USS Wrath of Prometheus.
Captain S'Nii has always been a source of concern for the colony. She is prone to rash decisions. This is why she was being kept close to home. S'Nii moved Prometheus close to the station.
While she and Commodore Paige exchanged barbs on the COMM, Zoe Beamon and her Zombies moved to Governor's to remind Dominic that threatening the Rear Admiral would be a poor course of action.
Captain S'Nii ordered Major Zoe Beamon to protect Rear Admiral Vermont Viceroy at all costs. Zoey made the formal order known to Admiral Viceroy. She informed the Rear Admiral that a meeting would be required.
Monty came into the private meeting room on the observation decks of Governor's Station. He could not believe his good fortune. In his time of worst despair, pressured by the Federation to reveal whom lived under his Mayoralty, he has seen one of the great beauties of the universe... his bolian princess in the sunlight of Lambda Hydrae.
It was all worth it. The troubles with Montgomery, the arrogance of Paige and the tension in his soul about loyalties to the Federation and to the Phoenix. It was all worth it.
