"On whose authority was the attack order given!!", Vincent shouted as he punched the Klingon officer.
The Klingon spit in his face, "The Athenians no longer accept the authority of the civilian government of Ephyra. Governor Branson is no longer in charge. The Athenians recognize the military government of General Gaetan Grace. I order you as the senior Star Fleet Commander in the region to announce that you recognize the authority of General Grace."
"You are in no position to make demands.", Vincent shouted.
"How the hell did you know we were coming?", the Klingon demanded.
"I told them.", Dr. Orchid Coren-Lau walked into the room.
"Who the hell are you?", the Klingon demanded.
"I am Dr. Orchid Coren-Lau, host of the Emissary of Ephyra.", Orchid announced.
Vincent looked at her stunned.
"Do you believe me now, Admiral?", Orchid repeated her claims from his ready room.
She had barged in to announce that a Klingon Commando Team were going to attack the colony complex to put Gaetan Grace in charge of the colony. Vincent had reacted slowly but finally dispatched Commander Tanus to protect the possibility.
"Where is Branson?", Vincent demanded looking at Elora.
"I am here.", Nicole walked into the room.
The Klingon spit in her direction. Nicole stepped back. General Hon'Tihl Kabarann entered the room. She was furious. Nicole looked at her.
Vincent looked at Tanus, "Major, arrest this bitch!"
"You do not have the authority, Admiral.", Honey laughed.
"Are you prepared to risk a ground war with the Anticans or will you shut up and listen.", Honey demanded.
"Twice in my history, I have taken the civilian government down. The Klingons will now use Ephyra as a launching pad. We will take Bajor and then enter the Cardassian Union. They will sing tales in Stovokor of my greatness! I will be known in the annals of Kahless himself.", She preached.
"Announce that you recognize the Antican dog as Governor and then my pet will reach the trade agreement with the Klingon empire and my takeover will be complete.", Honey growled.
"There is one problem with your plan.", Colonel Brown walked into the room.
"Stand down Dog!", Honey snarled, "How the hell did you find out what was going on here?"
"I told him.", Dr. Maya Coren walked into the room and put her arm inside Bell's.
"Freakin' Coren's. Betazoids cannot be trusted. They know your thoughts!", Honey shouted.
"They certainly can't.", Elizabeth walked into the room.
"You! You came to us!", Honey shouted.
"At my request.", Vice Admiral T'tan and Admiral T'Ora joined the group.
"What the hell is this?", Honey shouted.
Nicole looked at Vincent, "What the hell is this?"
Vincent smiled, "This is Alpha Quadrant politics, Governor. I informed Vice Admiral T'tan of my theory that the Klingons were behind the creation of Athens and the arrival of General Grace. She took those claims to Vice Admiral Elizabeth Coren of the Betazoid Alliance. Elizabeth feared that the Klingons may have desires on Betazed. She informed Admiral Illyan Coren who spoke directly to Admiral T'Ora. We needed to ensure that the cards were on the table. Elizabeth instructed Maya to return to Second Corinthians. Your emotional response would give the Klingons the perfect opening to make the attempt. It was then Dr. Orchid Coren-Lau who discovered the time and date of the attempt."
Nicole looked at the Trill, "Flower?"
Orchid looked at Nicole, "Nikki."
Nicole was near faint at the word.
Vincent looked at Honey, "You are busted, General Kabarann and you are no longer welcome here. You are banished."
Honey looked at Bell. She and the Anticans had been close during her involvement in the creations of the Tactical Headquarters.
General Gaetan Grace entered the room. He looked at Bell and smiled, "You are free to speak Colonel."
"Get the hell out of my sight bitch!", Belvedere announced, looking back at Gaetan.
"I could not have said it better myself.", General Grace looked at Vincent and Nicole.
Gaetan looked at Nicole, "You have the authority, Governor. The citizens of Athens are pleased to be members of the Ephyra Colony. We yield the floor."
Nicole smiled. Orchid walked up to Nicole, "Its good to see you."
