The Galor Class Vessels entered the space declared Bajoran by General Nerah. The order came from Nerah himself. Launch in defence! The USS Apocalypse and the USS Quasar Quest launched in defense of the colony.
Gul Varno arrived via shuttle on Governor's Station with the communication from Legate Anwar, "Stand down and honor the treaty."
Commodore Tan looked at Varno, "This is our home."
Varno looked at Tan, "It is my home too."
"Then how would you proceed?", Tan asked.
"I have made mistakes. Too many to count. Each time I have been forgiven. Each time I have been taken back in. This is my home too. I say protect the Garden.", Varno responded.
The Apocalypse moved into an offensive posture. Colonel Beamon looked out at the viewer at the older ships. John looked at the main viewer of the USS Quasar Quest and then announced, "Star Fleet has not authorized the use of force in defence of the Bajoran declararation. If we move, we move alone."
Colonel Beamon tapped her combadge, "I am with you."
John looked at the three Galors and then tapped his combadge, "This is Captain John Warren of the USS Quasar Quest. You have now entered Bajoran Air Space. This space is protected by the King's Fleet and reasonable force will be used to defend this territory. Withdraw and no further actions will be taken."
There was a silence but the ships never altered their path. John looked at Dawn, "We knew it would come to this once the announcement came."
Dawn looked at John, "We are with you."
John tapped his combadge, "Colonel Beamon, lets see what that new toy can do. Use whatever force is necessary."
Zoe always wanted a ship. It is what she dreamed about. Now in this moment, she just a gun and a marine battlefield. She turned to Gretchen, "Fire all weapons!!"
The explosions sent one Galor to its doom and significantly damage to the second. Gretchen cheered. Zoe just stood there on the bridge of the Apocalypse. This is not the end, it is only the beginning.
She should have been thinking of her crew and her ship but she had only one thought, of Nicole Branson.
