Dr. Catherine Coren has truly enjoyed her time with Nicole Branson but the guilt she felt was something she could no longer bare. Being a Betazoid, she experienced feelings so much more amplified. Catherine finally looked at Nicole well riding from the colony to Lt. Governor's Station and proceeded to tell her the truth.
Catherine confessed to arranging for the pheromone injection into the Orion D'Tall. She admitted to being a party to the Star Fleet plot to get James Hatherton in charge of the King's Fleet. She admitted to helping prepare the hypospray used by Henrietta Hatherton to create the romance between Colonel Zoe Beamon and Major D'Tall. Catherine is amongst the region's foremost pharmacologists.
Catherine then confessed her jealousy over the relationship that was shared between Orchid and Nicole and between Nicole and Magenta. Nicole looked at Catherine and then walked out of the shuttle alone.
Nicole proceeded to reveal the truth to her mother Tania. She told her of the plan, the results and the pair shared their devastation. Nicole looked at her mother and showed her the pheromone biochemical formula. Nicole asked Tania to program the atmospheric filter to eliminate the pheromone.
Nicole headed back to the surface. The Weather Control System at Lt. Governor's was successful in removing the pheromone from the atmosphere. How did Nicole know?
She walked home to find a guest on the chair in her backyard.
"I hope I can make up for all that has happened in the last week or so.", D'Tall looked at her former lover.
"i can think of something.", Nicole grinned.
