Tania was embarrassed that she had been abducted right from the Quest. The Betazoid Alliance was truly that powerful. Tania could not believe her implants did not pick up the abductors.
Caitlin was in her quarters when she arrived. Tania looked at her, "What the hell are you doing here?"
The infamous double agent looked back, "I just wanted to make sure my package made it home safe."
"Your package? How the hell did you get in here?", Tania looked at the Sector 31 operative.
"Are you really so stupid? Madison is a Laree. She may be a renegade but she is a Betazoid.", Caitilin chuckled.
"Madison betrayed me.", Tania snapped.
"She did not betray you, Commander. She simply followed orders.", Caitlin responded.
Tania went out to fulfill her daily duties. The Quest moved near Lt. Governor's in high orbit. Tania went down to the Station. It marked the first time she had been back since Hatherton had taken over the King's. It was almost surreal.
She walked into the corridor to find a stranger she had not seen in a long time.
Zoe looked at Tania, "It has been a long time."
Tania looked at Zoe, "I have moved on."
"Yeah, with a doctor who betrayed you.", Zoe looked at Tania. She had heard about Madison.
"You slept with D'Tall.", Tania remembered the original plot to bring down her chances as governor.
"You betrayed me first.", Tania looked at Zoe.
"Please stay with me.", Zoe looked Tania.
"I can't.", Tania responded, thinking about many wonderful nights with the Bolian refugee.
"But you could.", Zoe repeated. She had always dreamed of the white wedding, two children and a beautiful house.
