Vincent sat in his office watching the BBC coverage of the capture of Ambassador Propeya Pan'Taar and his attempt to blame the murder of Dr. Peneleaus Prang'Laar on Dr. Catherine Coren. He was almost disgusted with himself when the Federation advisor called him a hero and loped a lot of praise on the civilian police force, Captain Robert E. Leo and on the Marines for their capture of Pan'Taar.
The Federation spokesperson called the colony a special place. Vincent did not see it that way anymore. He came to Ephyra with high praise and with the belief he could make this place special. It was known as the Garden of Bajor. There are weeds in the Garden.
Vincent left the office. He needed a shower. He felt unclean.
He stepped into the shower to find a bizarre guest.
They could be unclean together.
