Nicole was terrified. The words echoed in her mind, "Don't screw this up."
Nicole arrived on Lt. Governor's. She looked in Vincent's office. It just seemed odd to see the UFP and Starfleet seal with her name on it and not Admiral Viceroy. She looked at the duty roster.
Dawn looked at Nicole, "Can I help you, Vice Admiral?"
"Who??", Nicole muttered.
"Vice Admiral Branson.", Captain Keystone repeated.
"Sorry.", Nicole answered. This was going to take a while to get used to.
"I have had the consierge take the champagne requested in your pre-site transfer.", Captain Keystone acknowledged.
"I never made any requests.", Nicole looked at Dawn.
Dawn handed her the PADD. Nicole looked at the formal request. She was still puzzled as she headed for her quarters.
She opened the door to find Olive sitting on the couch....
Olive looked at Nicole, "I thought we should celebrate your promotion."
