Christine T"Nley has had some success with celebrity watching both on ONN on the Phoenix Colony and now here in the Garden with the BBC. Christine has publically declared her distaste for this type of journalism but also understands that the media whether it is throughout human history or now in 2392 on Ephyra is about these false idols.
Christine is a journalist. She lives for the big story and catching one big scoop is something that every reporter wants. Christine is aware of the very public face of the Nicole Branson - Olivia Pan'Taar feud. Nicole has spoken out against Section 31 involvement in colony politics, in the death of Propeya Pan'Taar and the death of Dr. Peneleaus Prang'Laar. She has declared them a dangerous enemy. She has publicly declared that what Olivia Pan'Taar did as unforgiveable despite their sharing a shuttle after the Olive Branch speech at the Cardassian Refugee camp.
Christine did not wish to take their public face at face value and has in recent history been forced to back Branson. She even championed her campaign to return to the role of Governor with the Cardassian refugees. Christine had to swallow her pride and do what is right for the colony. Christine's confrontations with Nicole are the stuff of legend.
Nicole once slugged her in her role as Governor on the Phoenix Colony over comments about her being naive and even stupid. Christine wanted to get one on Nicole. She wanted to reestablish her relationship with a shot of her own.
Nicole's declarations of her feelings towards Olivia Pan'Taar have been for public consumption and Christine engaged in a rant on her Ephyra Truth Announcements (ETA) celebrity dirt show on the BBC. Nicole declared Christine's rant as unprofessional and untrue.
Christine appeared the very next night with a chuckle at the public announcement of the Govenor and then presented the facts....
The image taken at Rhythm Dennyson water resort hotel was broadcast for all to see. Christine literally laughed as she proclaimed the Governor a hypocrit and a liar and declared the Pan'Taar Prophecy fulfilled. There is a Pan'Taar in charge of Ephyra and she is leading the current governor around by her snout...
