Taleen had to be totally honest with her father. She travelled to the surface to meet with him personally over what had happened on the Starbase. Taleen was perfectly honest about the chemistry between her and Sabrina. She told Tanus that it may be the same chemistry that the two of them shared.
Tanus was hurt at first but then fascinated by the story of their love. Tanus could respect the same sex relationship having enjoyed a brief fling with Colonel Brown in his life. He truly loved Sabrina and wanted the best for him.
Tanus had come into the city after the meetng and he went to the academy to meet some prospective new marines. He lectured the group on protocol, on the fears of the Freedom Fighters and on the history of the Dragons, the Dogs of War and the Zombies. He was really fired up after his speech and stopped by the campus lounge for a drink to wind down.
He was sitting alone watching as Bethany Montgomery sat alone at the end of the bar. He slowly wandered over, "All alone."
"When your father is Admiral Bruce Montgomery and you serve under Vincent Viceroy and Nicole Branson, you are bound to be alone.", Bethany frowned.
Tanus and Bethany were soon talking about being outcasts. Bethany then said something odd, "I heard that Gorn males do not have large appendages."
Tanus frowned, "Compared to human points of entry, that is correct... At least some of them."
Tanus thought of Samantha Warren and his brief fling with Sabrina Laree-Madison. Bethany looked at Tanus, "You pervert."
"I am just saying.", Tanus forced a smile.
Bethany had another drink and then she looked at the Gorn, "I have never done that."
Tanus looked at Bethany, "I would be gentle."
Bethany giggled and looked at the barkeep, "On Student BM2012"
