The arrival of the Vulcan Commander T'tan brought forth a curious proposal. The Vulcan Education Network Institute of Continuing Education has proposed the hosting of an University Games here on the Phoenix Colony.
Each major academy, the Omega Academy of Omega Prime, the Vulcan Academy of Venice, the Bajoran Academy of Boston and the Romulan Academy at Rome will sent two teams to Venice for the games which will be divided into two major categories:
1. Academic Prowess -
Each academy will select 4 students to engage in academic activity ranging from formal presentation to quiz style memory games and finally to a formal debate to close the academic portion of Universiade 2386.
2. Athletic Prowess -
Each academy will select students to participate in traditional track and field events dating back to the original Olympic games of Earth concluding with the 100m dash and the Decathalon.
