Nicole was asked to tour the USS Providence by Major Tanus of Gorn as part of the commissioning of the vessel and the shakedown flight. Nicole went down to the lounge for a drink after the tour.
She was stunned to see Dr. Lily Gral tending bar.
"What the heck are you doing?", Nicole looked at the flirtatious doctor.
"Major Tanus has all of us assigned extra duties Since the morale of the ship falls to the Chief Medical Officer, he suggested that I take shift and that soon became the need to control the whole bar, so welcome to Lily in the Water, watering hole of the USS Providence. Pull up a stool and tell me your problems.", Lily grinned.
"You don't know the half of it.", Nicole started in on the eerie bond forming between her and Dr. Orchid Coren, the Bajoran created wallflower.
Lily looked at Nicole, "You always have a fallback position."
Lily winked and went out to serve some tables.
