Admiral Marcus-Brutus Pan'Taar rose to prominence leading the Tellarite Fleet on a couple of occasions into the Alpha Quadrant. He earned tremendous praise for tactics and for politics. He earned tremendous flare for his spouse, Colonel Mary Elizabeth Pan'Taar and her prowess as a marine. He also has brought the Tellarite people back to prominence by his movement through the ranks of Starfleet. He is a hero to his people.
While the beautiful Mary Elizabeth Pan'Taar serves with the security detail on Starbase 756, Admiral Marcus-Brutus Pan'Taar has watched his daughter be outed at the Tellarite Christmas Party with Dr. Lily Gral of the USS Providence. This man is a man of culture, politics and prominence and spoke out against the wife of the prominent Secretary of State Nicole Branson behaving badly.

I, Christine T'Nley hoped to find something simple to make an editorial comment on the good Admiral... Marcus-Brutus had been so careful as he manoeuvred out Interim Admiral James Hatherton and continued to weaken the position of resigning Admiral, our own Vincent Viceroy. He had earned such praise for his political prowess even from the Betazoid Entertainment Technologies. I never expected to find a thing beyond a bad document or an illegal immigration... Least of all, this....
