Tan looked at Teshra in her marine uniform, "You look so sharp, sweetie."
"it is the right thing for me to do.", Teshra kissed the rough skin of the Hierarchy Clanner on the forehead.
"I cannot grow anymore here but as an Andorian who has served as a Station Security Officer, a Station Executive Officer. I have served on two vessels and two stations, Tee. I need to expand my abilities. Serving in marine support aboard the Providence will allow me to do that.", Teshra explained.
Tan was gonna miss her so much. She had been his rock since arriving from Sparta. She had flirted with him and now he was having to let her go.
Tan watched the Providence break for the Romulan Asteroid belt. The Dogs, the Dragons, the Zombies and hopefully a unit one day assigned to Teshra Trmel have been dealing over and over again with Romulan incursion into the neutral zone. Starfleet and the Federation do not want to deal with this issue so the responsibility is left to the King's Fleet.
The Admiral stood there for a long time watching the stars when he heard a familiar voice, "Admiral Tan, I request an audience in your presence."
Tan turned around to see Summer Vasa, the beautiful Betazed who had been his partner in life aboard Station Destiny in the Phoenix Federation and who had followed him to the Phoenix Colony and even Ephyra and Camelot before leaving to serve as Executive Officer aboard the BAS Black Orchid. His heart was broken when she left.
"Summer.", the Clanner exlaimed, almost moving to tears.
She saluted, "Betazoid Construction Supervisor, Monarch Station Reporting for Duty."
Tan saluted. His hand quivered. He wanted to rush towards her and hug her. She could feel the tension too. She looked at Tan, "We will be requesting several support vessels, worker bees and even fighter support as the Grand Monarchs continue construction."
Her voice cracked as she spoke. Tan could feel the love filling the room where they once worked so closely together. He looked at her, "Anything you need."
"Anything.", she repeated.
"I will do whatever I can to help you.", Tan's voice also cracked as he fumbled for words.
"How 'bout a hug then.", Summer started to cry sharing her Betazoid feelings through the room.
Tan walked forward. Summer had taught him about love. She had taught him about everything relationship wise. He held her so tight. He had been infatuated with Teshra but he loved Summer. This was something very different.
Summer whispered, "I love you so much."
Tan's heart swelled with the words, "I have missed you my love."
