It was later than Marcus had planned on getting back. T’Ros, having returned to normal was quite happy to see him make his excuses and leave. They had agreed to meet the following day to discuss his location for Vorta’Rome, she however, was just out of luck on the destroyed transporter buffer.
Landing his craft at the space port an attendant smiled and waived as the hanger doors closed behind him
“Whats up?” Marcus smiled.
The attendant waived him over.
“Lot of late night activity Mr. Dinn.. Yes indeed. You;d think something was ….up.”
“What do you mean?”
“Lot of traffic head towards Wells City… yes sir. Lot of traffic.”
Marcus looked off to the south. “Really?”
“All of a sudden too. No notice Mr. Dinn. Just all of a sudden I tell you.”
Marcus smiled. “I’m sure it’s alright Kenny. You have a good night.”
“You too Mr. Dinn. Your cab should be waiting, I called for you just a soon as I saw your approach.”
“Thank you Kenny. You’re a good man.”
The attendant waived and watched as Marcus got into the hover car and it sped off.
“Somethings up …. I just know it.” Kenny muttered to himself.
Off;
