"Where the f*** is it?", Parker looked at Vincent after inviting the Commander in Chief to Federation One.
"I don't know what you are talking. I am a minor Admiral in a minor fleet. Nothing more than the regional warlord.", Vincent chuckled.
"Don't play stupid, Vincent. The Covenant, where is the weapon?", Parker screeched.
"Parker, have you ever wondered why the Ark, an aged but space worthy constellation class was scattered in the Beta Zeta Sector. Such a weapon is simply to dangerous. Attacking the universe at its sub-molecular core is simply nothing more than a doomsday prize. I understand Starfleet's want to be in possession of such a device but it cannot be held by any regional authority. As a leadership group, Deveniss, Tan and I made the decision to ensure that the device, the Covenant as you call it, cannot be at risk of falling under a regional superpower control." Vincent calmly lectured the UFP President.
"In discussions with molecular structure technologist, Colonel Acrylos Teero of Bajor, we determined that accidental activation could be controlled under extreme cold conditions. Almost immediately after the cold control discovery, the King's Fleet enlisted Agents Caitlin Wu and Thua'ra Varno to plant the seeds surrounding getting the King's Fleet and the regional colony charter to the Beta Penthe System.", Vincent laid out the plans.
He had the replicator generate a large coffee. He walked over to the viewer, "General Kabarann was so proud of the revelation of getting us assigned here to the extreme cold. She thought she was punishing us. She thought that even more than leaving the Phoenix Colony for the farms of Ephyra in the Bajoran sector, she had been the one who had finally shutdown the influence of the King's Fleet. She had done what others had tried."
Parker looked out as the viewer amplified to show the extremely cold village on the ice planet. She put her hand on Vincent's shoulder, "Well done, Vincent. Well done."
Vincent smiled, "We are all safer today."
