God, I have so many studios, it is hard to keep track. I guess this week, we are working for Reykja Broadcasting Corporation. I wish it were under better circumstances but the network's first expose is the discovery that Paul Warren, as commanding officer of the USS Plato's Academy and Peter Warren and Richard Madison were among those members of the King's Fleet promised reassignment within Starfleet for targeting information for Cha'Tev Reykja.
The look on John Warren's face when he was told his children had betrayed the King's Fleet was horrible. He had already been estranged from Peter especially around Peter's relationship with the Aquarian Rhythm Dennyson. He became more estranged with Paul Warren after learning of Paul non-standard lifestyle choices. He however thought they would come around.
John was later seen in the casino. It turns out that Kiera Tanus and Scott Todd have also betrayed the King's Fleet. They have all been reassigned to Federation One. Tanus and John shared a drink. Kids... You cannot control them.
To make matters worse, FBN leaked pictures of Richard Madison and Paul Warren at the celebration gala for the Starfleet victory at Cha'Tev Reykja. The last thing John needed to see with his stresses.
Tanus looked at John, "Why'd we enlist again?"
John sipped the the whiskey. He had seen many betrayals. He had even done some of his own serving the Terran Empire in the mirror universe.
There was no answer. Why would anyone sign up for this?
