"You did this, you fucking bitch.", Acrylos looked at Nicole.
Nicole covered her face and started to cry. The Bajoran grabbed her hands, "You can't cry this one away. Mosita Tanaka, Tiara Cu'gr and Corianna Powers are gone."
"You wouldn't chose.", Nicole snapped back.
The Continuum member Z had confronted Acrylos Teero about his involvement in the Branson Bisect. The Omniscient had demanded penalty for the timeline violation. The penalty was simple. The Continuum would end their incursion in the current colony existence if the physicist would chose one of his known concubines as payment for the violation. The Bajoran refused to chose. He chastised the Continuum for not intervening to prevent the Nero incident which destroyed Vulcan and Romulus.
Acrylos literally lectured Z about allowing the incident to pervert the current timeline forcing the Branson Bisect. He screamed at both Z as the representative and at the Continuum itself for allowing the House of neroQ and the Betazoid House of Coren to attempt to establish the House of neroQ as the ruling family of Klingon and allowing Illyan Coren to restore his family to a time before the original Omega Colony.
It is believed that Z himself was embarrassed when he reacted by killing all three of the women prior to disappearing.
Acrylos looked at Nicole, "How could I chose? I am not a black widow with a heart of stone like you!"
The Bajoran stormed from the Academy Offices.
The Continuum may have established their so-called balance and withdrawn but they have devastated the region, the powerful families and vilified Nicole Branson.
They have caused great sorrow to so many.
