Nicole has made a big issue out of the fact that ships tend to function better when the command staff have a personal stake in the relationship. This does not necessarily have to be something sexual as evidenced by Thua'ra Varno and Vash Enranet aboard the Tanmesad.
There is however something special about a sexual link. Parker Hatherton and Michael Montgomery have developed a beautiful relationship aboard the speedy Andrew. The winner has been the crew. The pair has done a fabulous job with the speedy vessel. Parker had brought the ship back to the wej'veQ.
Parker spent the day with her brother Patrick who was amazing in upping the output of the Andrew's Nacelles. Parker had heard the stories about the skills of her brother. She had discounted them because of his lifestyle choices. She thought people were just being nice because of her previous history as the head of Starfleet Command. Patrick was amazing.
Michael had to do the fly-in for the engine repairs so Parker was stuck on the station. Patrick offered to let his sister stay with him. Parker at first refused but after all the hard work, she finally agreed. Parker only agreed after learning that Petrine Polley, the mercenary pilot boyfriend of Patrick would be in the field for the night.
Parker got up in the AM and made herself a coffee. She was sitting at the table when Patrick came out wearing very female undergarments.
Patrick raised his arms above his head, "I think it hides my manhood well. I think I look pretty damn good."
Parker looked at Patrick, "I don't think you should be talking to me about this."
"You are the most beautiful woman I knew. Who better to ask?", Patrick offered.
Parker smiled. For the first time since Patrick joined the King's, they had made a connection in that moment.
Soon the pair were joking about macho boyfriends in Commander Montgomery and Petrine Polley.
Parker looked at Patrick, "Thank you for making me stay here."
"What are siblings for?", Patrick smiled.
