There has been so much stress for the Fleet Command. The Federation is putting a lot of pressure on the small fleet to continue to stand up to the rising Cardassian Union and Starfleet and Admiral Richard Madison have been literally shouting at Viceroy and Tan to make a statement in support of Chancellor Kabarann to try to get the Klingon and his loyal forces to rise up against Empress Gowan.
Vincent was very worried about losing vessels by being to aggressive. It is easy to sit in Paris and order ship into the bite but not so simple right at the Klingon front. Vincent needed a release. He spent twenty minutes lecturing Colonel Beamon about not putting troops at risk.
Zoe let him vent. He needed to release some energy. He could not yell at Richard or President Harper Madison but he could yell at her. Zoe knew that Vincent just needed to get rid of some stress. She knew venting was not going to be enough. They had only been a couple for a few weeks but she wanted him to get what he needed.
Zoe removed her uniform top and dropped her jeans in almost a single motion.
Vincent gasped, "What the hell are you doing, Colonel?"
"Giving you the release you need.", Zoe removed her underwear and bent over the couch.
There had been so much stress with the rise of Empress Gowan, the defection of General Varno and the failure of Chancellor Kabarann to stand up for himself after the death of his daughter. This was for Vincent but Zoe had been on the ground at Eyja. It was for her too.
