Christine was so devastated by the betrayal of General Belvedere Brown that she threw herself into her work. She needed to be a resource for the Delta Quadrant and to do that the Camelot Broadcasting System had to be 100% reliable and had to know things about the region that others could not.
Christine was always able to get information from the Tal Shiar in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. She did not have that option in the Delta Quadrant. Christine research would reveal that the Tellarites first attempted exploration of the Delta Quadrant by using the Hippopotamidae Tellar to fly through wormhole into the quadrant with little or no resources with the goal of claiming resources for the Tellar System.
These Tellar people were promised commands, ships and crews and the spoils of colonial exploration. In fact, it was the low survival rate that led the Tellar military leadership to sacrifice the Hippopotamidae. There was little or no contact with these explorers and many did unspeakable things to survive.
Zek Ishka had had previous contact with Patch Gra'Naak, one of these Tellar explorers who had been in the region for several decades. Zek had given the infamous snake oil salesman's contact information to Christine.
Christine went to see Patch. He showed her Zaranites pirate patterns. They would be so valuable and really wet her whistle for using Patch as a resource. He knew things and had resources throughout the region. For the first time since Bell had left her, she was excited to go to work.
Christine needed a scoop to set up her new CBS as critical to the region's safety. She wanted something on the Vidiians. The organ hunting aliens were well known to the colonists after their attack on the Phoenix Colony. They were the horror stories children were told. The Vidiians most certainly will pay a visit.
Christine went to Zek to get into contact with Patch. Patch agreed to meet her in the meadow on Carlisle Asteroid. He demanded that she wear something revealing. At first she refused but when Zek told her that is what it would take, she reluctantly agreed.
Christine put on a nature coloured bikini and headed for the Asteroid. The Hippopotamidae grinned when he saw the Romulan hybrid. She looked at the short creepy alien and gave a forced smile.
He patted the grass so that she would sit next to him.
Christine curled her lip as he put his hand on hers. Christine looked at the alien, "What do you have for me?"
"It won't be that easy.", Patch grinned.
"Huh?", the beautiful Vulcan-Romulan looked at Patch.
"If you want the information, you will remove those bottoms and let me have a slurp on something sweet.", Patch offered.
"What? No damn way!!", Christine stood up.
Patch looked at her, "I have been in the quadrant for many years. I have known things. I have learned things. I also know that you will taste good. It will be worth it for you."
Christine was half way to her shuttle when she looked back at the alien.
He was a hideous slobbering alien. She thought about her coverage of the King's Fleet. She thought of Saehir Marrus and Deveniss of Selay, a Romulan and a weird alien. She thought of Linus Shaw and Sara Pharell, a slug and a Cardassian hybrid. These ladies got past the appearance and got what they wanted out of their weird mates. Christine thought of Hulanen Laree and her works on alien sexuality and her own respect for Hulanen.
Christine stopped and turned around. How bad could it be? He would give her a valuable regional scoop. A scoop that could help establish the Camelot Broadcasting System. Christine went back and sat in the grass next to Patch. She slowly lowered her bikini bottoms and laid back in the grass.
Funny thing, it was not half bad. In fact, it was more than that. It was incredible. Christine ripped at the grass as every muscle in her body cringed in orgasmic excitement. Patch rolled onto his back breathing heavily. He handed Christine a PADD with all the recent Vidiians movements and their plans for the recent influx of flesh for their harvest.
Christine got dressed, standing up looking at the alien, "Thank you."
"Your welcome.", Patch looked at her.
They were talking about the information exchange but both were really thinking about something else.
