Bring My People Home Empty
PostSubject: Bring My People Home   Bring My People Home EmptyMon Sep 14, 2015 6:16 pm

Zack sat on the bed writing on a pad. A naked Tegora Vasa slept facedown on the cot. If you take the body of a sim sense junkie and provide him with an actual mate, what do you think is going to happen. There is nothing better than the real thing!

Zack was flipping one page over and one page back again, "Holy sh**!!"

Tegora moaned, "What is it?"

"I think I figured it out.", Dr. Tchilack announced.

"I have to find Admiral Viceroy.", the Invae Spirited alien looked at Tegora.

Vincent looked dirty and tired. Life in Carlisle Penitentiary can be very difficult. Zack looked at Vincent, "I think I can revert us back to our universe but..."

"There is always a but...", Vincent interrupted, "I am not prepared to put even the Delta Quadrant at risk. The Krenim have been stopped. If that means living out my days here, I am prepared to live my days out here."

"This is the beauty of this option, we can block the temporal inter-universal opening by taking a portion of this universe with us.", Zack handed Vincent his temporal physics notes.

"This would mean an entire city population would arrive with knowledge of replication, the abandonment of the use of money and the peace that we have been establishing for 2 centuries. This influence would make for some difficult social management.", Vincent observed.

"Nicole has been able to convince races that are known enemies to live in Opera and other cities. We can teach them. Better yet, we can make them part of service to the King's Fleet. Best of all, we can go home.", Zack responded with joy.

Vincent looked at Zack, "And you are certain that this will not allow the Krenim attack to continue."

"You have seen, Admiral, the timeline in our universe has continued to advance. The Hatherton and the ships of the King's Fleet have been ravaged by the Zaranites and Vidiians. It is time to strike back and not just by moving the ships closer to the station and activating automated systems. We need to put butts in the seats. This may be our only chance.", Zack pleaded.

"You know I have to ask.", Vincent responded, What about Option B?"

"Group psychosis is so rare it is often overlooked in the medical journals. In order for us to consider Option B, we would have to accept the premise that all of us have a shared delusion and less believable yet, that the onset of that shared delusion was the same event, the Krenim attack on Starbase One and the Earth. The likelihood of that being the reality is remote at best.", Zack offered.

"And you can trigger this temporal event.", Vincent asked.

"I am sure as hell going to try.", Zack offered.

Zack grabbed Vincent by the arm and took him to a manhole in the common area. He crawled down inside the sewer. The stench was unbearable. Vincent looked at him, "What are you trying to show me?"

Zack wrestled open a manhole in the floor. He crawled into the opening and encouraged Vincent to follow. Vincent crawled in and then bizarrely felt his body turn 180 degrees and crawled out in Opera. He breathed deeply in the green spaces of Carlisle Asteroid. Vincent looked at Zack and then tapped his dirty combadge, "Hatherton, this is Admiral Viceroy, please respond."

"This is the Hatherton Automated Response System, please advise of your direction, Admiral.", the computer responded.

Vincent started to tear up, "How do we get the others back?"

"We lead them on the same path you and I took.", Zack offered.

"But how?", Vincent looked at Zack.

"To make a long story short, the Krenim do not have as good an understanding of temporal mechanics as they would present in the torment of the starship Voyager or the attack on Earth. As I worked through there equations, I found that they were always using a tether constant. The tether constant allows them to better protect their own reality by limiting the manipulated variables. Once I made the discovery, I worked backwards to find the location of the tether constant. By keeping the tether constant here on Carlisle, we ca prevent the. From using it again and by keeping the Shadowrunner city of Seattle on the downside of Carlisle, the Krenim will not be able to manipulate the alternate universe to set up another temporal attack on the Alpha Quadrant or the Earth.", Zack provided a scientific and temporal lesson.

Vincent looked at Zack, "And I will not be thrust back into the prison."

"No sir.", Zack smiled.

Vincent could not help himself. He hugged Zack, "Thank you."

"You may not want to thank me, Admiral. We have a million new citizens, many of whom were altered by goblinization, who have no idea about replication, currency free society or peaceful coexistence.", Zack looked at his boss.

Vincent patted him on the shoulders, "Bring my people home!"

"It will be my honour.", Dr. Tchilack saluted.
