Vincent was in his forties and a greying man in 2380 when he founded the King's Fleet and helped establish the role of the regional fleet authorities in the Starfleet universe. He played a pivotal part in the establishment of the Betazoid corridor as more than just a place to recruit counsellors and under his guidance Admirals Alexander Laree and Illyan Coren developed the command skills necessary to develop the Betazoid Alliance and to help the Betazoid Alliance join the Phoenix Federation in standing up against the tyranny of the Empire of V'Ros.
The burden of leadership cost Vincent Viceroy his youth. In 2384, he abandoned the station he helped establish and threatened to fall into administrative obscurity as part of the Starfleet machine. In 2388, Nicole Branson pulled him off the scrap heap to command the second Governor's Station orbiting the Phoenix Colony under the authority of President William Hunt and Governor Nicole Branson. Vincent got the itch once more. He wanted more than just protecting the colony.
The King's Fleet was reestablished in Ephyra and despite setbacks at the hands of the Romulans, Klingons and Cardassians, Vincent has pushed forward. Branson Beauty may hide his age but as 2395 nears its end, he is now 57 and has experienced once more the burden of command. He is feeling his age. Like Nicole Branson, he feels the pain of the Romulan genocide at Cheron VI and Medara. People have died under his command; many people!
Vincent was looking at the snow covered mountains near Camelot. He was feeling the cold in his old bones even though he was in the climate controlled building. He was thinking about where the year had been from the involvement in the brutal Klingon Civil War including three Chancellors and a brief bit of service in the Delta Quadrant. He wondered how long he could carry on. He wondered how long he would feel young.
He heard a noise in the back of the colony complex. He turned around to see his much younger wife Monday standing against the mountain backdrop.
Vincent smiled as Monday unbuttoned the top of her jean shorts, sliding one hand inside. Vincent has a youthful appearance but nothing made him feel younger than the affection of Monday Coren. Vincent started walking towards his princess picking her up and swinging her around.
"I love you.", Vincent smiled.
I guess he will be able to serve a while longer.
