After a scare involving Admiral Deveniss coming over to the wej'veQ, the station, Admiral Viceroy needed a better method to move sensitive personnel from the Renaissance to the hospital or to the station. He learned that the NYPD had access to a bus fleet primarily used to transport low risk criminals and non-threatening crowd control personnel. This was the perfect scenario.
Vincent had an NYPD bus assigned to the King's County Sheriff's Department. All he needed was a driver. The assignment was not going as well as hoped until an incident occurred in the hot tub on top of the Renaissance. S'Nii and Taylor were caught up in the passions of lovemaking on the roof believing that while exhibitionist, it was safe.
Unfortunately a tourist in a helicopter snapped a picture that because of S'Nii's pointy ears immediately went viral.
Thankfully, the meme tag was 'Elves in Love' and had little or no reference to aliens, Vulcans or otherwise.
Admiral Deveniss was furious and immediately removed S'Nii and Taylor from the Lindsay. After pleading to stay involved, S'Nii was given a desk job but Taylor was terminated and moved into the Renaissance as a life partner. Deveniss was anxious to maintain the Viceroy connection to the Lindsay. He assigned fire fighters Brendon Montgomery and Giancarla Viceroy to the Lindsay and gave them a traffic assignment to learn the ropes.
Vash Enranet had been applying to join his Fleet colleagues in 2016. His Cardassian appearance made that very difficult. Vash complained that the Bolians and Andorians were assigned by covering their skin. After consultations with Ro Marino and Kira Matio, Deveniss offered command of the Hercules to Vash on condition that he appeared in New York as a Sikh male.
On his first day in command of the Hercules, Vash stopped to get a coffee. He experienced the horrific prejudice against Muslim culture in America. Vash knew immediately what the Bajorans had done. He acknowledged their well played choice. Vash was going to experience daily what they had experienced during the occupation of Bajor. Vash got his coffee and got back onto the bus. Picture that, a turbaned Sikh driving a bus - how stereotypical is that. Vash shook his head as he finished the day.
He went up to his Renaissance Apartment. He showered, removed his Turban and the make up to reveal his white skin and Cardassian ridges. He smiled as he looked in the mirror, "Welcome back!"
He walked out of the back and was startled by the words, "I thought you would never get here."
Vash smiled, "Beatrice."
"I am told that I can stay here and can only venture out on Halloween or other types of holidays.", Beatrice smiled.
"I am your housewife, I guess.", she smiled.
"I am glad you came.", Vash smiled back.
