Sera's youthful appearance made it possible for her to easily infiltrate the local gang movements. She had gotten involved with a local BMX bike gang by making a play for the gang leader effectively breaking up a local crack ring in a significant coups for the sheriff's offices bike unit.
Sera Phannell was pretty proud of herself until Teshra Trmel got the young my bail and a delay in the trial. Within hours, he was selling crack to local teens again. Sera was devastated. She had begun to understand the politics of 2016. She was sitting at the bar in the Excursion venting to Charlene Faulkner when Victoria looked over, "What if there was another option?"
Sera looked at Vickie, "Huh?"
"What if we could scare him into quitting?", Victoria asked.
"And how might we do that?", Sera asked.
"You remember when Tanus paid a visit to the spouse abuser? The appearance of a 400 pound lizard man ended the almost nightly visits by the cops to the home.", Victoria explained.
"What if your young dealer got a visit from a six foot creature that looks like a giant ant or fly?", Victoria referred to her mate, the reanimated Xindi Insectoid Tchilick Tchilack.
"What if your crack boy saw Click?", Vickie smiled.
Sera smiled, "It just might work."
She called the dealer. She told him she still liked him even though she had betrayed him to the cops. She told him she would like to meet. He was young and she was beautiful. He agreed.
The dealer walked into the room. It was not Sera Phannelll sitting at the table, it was Click.
The young man tried to leave but D'Tall and Sammy Warren stepped in front of the doors with their weapons drawn. Tchilick Tchilack proceeded to explain what was going to happen. He explained that the sale of crack would not be tolerated by the alien overlords and would be dealt with harshly. The young man ran from the room.
Sera came up to the apartment shared by Click and Victoria after supper with a nice bottle of wine. She looked at Victoria, "Thank you."
Vickie smiled, "We are honoured to help."
Sera looked at the alien couple, "Maybe we can make it in the Temporal Assignment after all."
Click raised his glass.
