Hawkins Wayne has always lived in the shadow of his legendary uncle John Wayne, Founder of the legendary Talosian fighters, the Hawks of Hell. Despite exemplary service to the King's Fleet marines and the development of his own version of the Hawks, he lived in the shadow of Belvedere Brown's Dogs of War, Tanus of Gorn's Dragons or Teshra Trmel's Terrorists. He always wanted the big victory to establish himself as a real star.
Hawkins has used his humanized appearance to appear as a distinguished gentleman and has done the office of Homeland Security proud with his efforts. Because of his importance in that role, he was invited to spend time with Zek Ishka who needs some freedom to import weapons into Camelot, the criminal nickname given to the King's County.
Hawkins was offered the services of The Witch Salem Todd as a prostitute. Hawkins was just playing a role. He was trying to I,plant himself into Ishka's criminal network. He took Salem upstairs but did not even make a play for her affections. Instead he talked about her service to the Dragons as a sharpshooter. He told her stories. She loved them. It reminded her of a time before she was involved in the Plato tragedy.
Soon Hawkins was coming over more often. He and Zek would talk business and then he and Salem would talk about the service. Hawkins would allegedly bring drugs but secretly he brought coffee and recovery teas. He was helping her find herself again.
Zek and London thought he was upstairs f**king Salem. If they only knew.
Salem was finally starting to act like herself again. She needed out.
Hawkins asked Zek if he could borrow his hoe for the weekend. Zek needed Hawkins and his homeland security access. He agreed.
Hawkins and Salem spent the afternoon with Deveniss and Tan as she spilled the dirt on London and Zek and illegal trade. Deveniss laughed. They had him.
