It Ain’t Boring Empty
PostSubject: It Ain’t Boring   It Ain’t Boring EmptySat Sep 07, 2019 7:02 pm

“I cannot tell you how please we are.”, Caitlin Wu stood with Saehir Marrus in the corridor of Cradol Station.

“Tensions between the Romulans and the Federation are at a renewed high.”, Saehir grinned.

“The war machine springs back to life.”, No’Bana looked at her Romulan colleague.

“You should be happy.”, Saehir grinned, “Section 31 is already working on a second ship for your King’s Fleet. You are important once again. Cradol Station is the marker on the Neutral Zone. You are the Romulan face in the negotiations between the Federation and the Star Empire.”

No’Bana frowned. Polly walked over and took her arm. They watched as Saehir and Caitlin left the room.

No’Bana turned to Vincent, “What if we took the planet and built a world here like we did with the others?”

“We have one ship, maybe two if Caitlin comes through with another vessel. We have a very old station.”, Vincent frowned, “Very old.”

“What if there was another option?”, the hidden Romulan looked at the Admiral.

“Huh?”, Vincent hardly sounded like a veteran admiral who once led all of Starfleet.

“What if there was another Star Destroyer that fell through the Multiverse Rift?”, No’Bana looked at Vincent.

“Shhhh!!”, Vincent snapped, “We could lose everything. We have a non-disclosure agreement.”

Polly looked at the Admiral, “Are you familiar with the Lukari?”

“The Lukari were originally a political grouping of Kentari who followed the scholar Lukar in opposing Kentari materialism, which they viewed as being on its way to destroying both the planet Kentar and its people. Following a civil war, the Lukari chose exile over death or imprisonment, and left Kentar by ship in the Great Exodus, eventually arriving on a moon they named for themselves and striking the location and much other information about Kentar from their historical records. The Lukari have had limited contact with the Tzenkethi Coalition and Ferengi Alliance, but felt little need to colonize beyond their home star system.”, Vincent looked at Polly.

“Well done, Admiral.”, the Protocol Droid looked at Vincent.

“The Lukari Science Vessel is a large triangular vessel.”, Polly looked at Vincent.

“Ambassador Koolana is being brought here to Cradol Station.”, No’Bana looked at Vincent.

“We are going to convince her to tell the Romulans that the Lukari claim planet Cradol as an ancient Lukar world.”, Polly explained to Vincent.

“I will activate the Imperium Triangular. Ambassador Koolana will appear as its commanding officer and we will take Cradol.”, No’Bana looked at Vincent.

“The Romulans will not want to fight the Imperium Triangular. They will remember its origins.”, No’Bana smiled.

“The Federation will not move on Cradol because of the hostilities and will not want to cause a scene out here because of the need to cover up the Multiverse Rift.”, No’Bana smiled.

“We can start colonization and to rebuild the King’s Fleet here.”, No’Bana smiled.

“Stop it Marrus. This is a pipe dream.”, Vincent lectured, “You would need hundreds if not thousands of people to fly such a ship. Where the hell are they gonna come from?”

“Look around, Nicole.”, Vincent spread out his arms and twirled around. His sarcasm filled the room.

Captain Jasmine Naar’Haaj walked into the room with many Tellarite officers. Vincent stared at the Tellarites with his mouth open.

Jasmine smiled. Vincent finally blurted out, “What the hell?!”

Jasmine smiled, “Tellar was one of the founding worlds of the Federation. We do not get any respect. Only through our association with Governor Branson have we regained prominence in the Federation.”

Ambassador Koolana strolled in to join them. Polly walked over, “Welcome, Ambassador.”

Polly smiled and began to explain the plan to the Ambassador. The King’s Fleet will use the secret Lukari ship to take the planet.

Ambassador Koolana smiled, “I can be the face of this vessel.”

Polly turned to Vincent, “We are good to go.”

Vincent rubbed his face and over his forehead. He thought about his career, where he has been, how he had fallen. What depth he might fall again!

The King’s Fleet was about to piss off the two largest powers in the region.

Vincent walked to the viewer in the old station. Hell is about to break out over a barren world.

Vincent frowned, “Well it’s not boring…”
