Admiral Deveniss stood in the corridor of King’s Fleet headquarters in the city of Omega when Romulan Admiral Conduima Marrus came walking into the offices.
“You think you are pretty special having ousted the Presidential Plot.”, the Romulan mocked.
“It was just luck.”, Deveniss looked at the father of Praetor Saehir Marrus.
The Romulan chuckled. Deveniss stood up, “Can I help you?”
“Easy big fella.”, Conduima mocked the history of the Selayan v. The Klingons.
Admiral Coren joined the group. He and Constantine confronted the Romulan, “Can we help you?”
Admiral Conduima Marrus looked at the Fleet leadership, “You are handling the Klingon rebels pretty well.”
Illyan looked at Marrus, “Do you have a point, Admiral?”
“I am curious about your loyalties to Starfleet.”, Marrus winked.
“Please leave.”, Illyan looked at the Romulan.
“I just had to see the Klingon Killer first hand.”, Conduima Marrus mocked.
Deveniss walked from the room. Admiral Tan chuckled as he looked at Romulan Admiral.
“Problem, Clanner?”, Marrus frowned.
“Admiral Deveniss is a fine leader.”, Tan smiled.
Marrus looked at Tan, “He lands a lucky punch and he is a leader!”
The gentle minded Tan looked at Marrus, “And he blanked out the holographic technology.”
Marrus went to shove the Hierarchy Clanner. Deveniss stepped back into the room.
Marrus lunged towards him. Deveniss stepped back as Conduima Marrus fell to the floor tripping on the carpet.
Tan laughed loudly. Admiral Illyan Coren helped the Romulan to his feet. He glared at Deveniss.
He walked from the fleet offices. The trouble is his slip has already been exaggerated ten fold. According to some reports, Deveniss demolished the Romulan in the same manner that he had bombed General Batok.
Deveniss may be the luckiest old man in the galaxy.
