Mission 3 – The Lost City of Camelot

“They found it.”, the young Klingon Sergeant shouted to colonel Gaston Golden, “It is real.”

The crash had occurred many months ago. Many of the inhabitants knew very little about Reykja Penthe and knew very little about the original King’s Fleet colony that had existed on the site. It was in the dead of winter when the Bird of Prey crashed into the surface. The group was hell bent on survival and establishing themselves and not exploring the countryside.

Experience had taught them that they needed to build a village, then a town and eventually a city. They need to build infrastructure and then energy sources and finally replication. From replication would come food and supplies. From replication would come greater tools to create greater infrastructure and eventually industrial replication. This would then lead to the potential for the creation of an Academy, a military and even a government. This has been occuring in earnest over the last months and now the group could venture forth.

Admiral Tan knew. Admiral Deveniss knew. These gentlemen however had patience. Tan because of his naivete – he just would not be able to focus on anything but the task at hand and Deveniss because the aging Selayan was okay playing the long game. He could now inspire others to explore.

Sending forth a unit under the command of Colonel Gaston Golden would allow him to try to find the last city of Camelot. A city founded by Governor Nicole Branson and Admiral Vincent Viceroy and the original King’s Fleet. This city would provide the basis to rebuild a true civilization and provide an opportunity for the King’s Fleet to invite new inhabitants to Reykja Penthe.

The shouts from the Klingon operative when the city, engrossed with moss growth was discovered by the Dogs of War sent shivers down the spine of Admiral Deveniss. The old Selayan knew it was a time for growth once more. The group was given a new energy and a new goal.

They were colonists once more.
