History Repeats Itself... Empty
PostSubject: History Repeats Itself...   History Repeats Itself... EmptyThu May 23, 2024 9:37 am

Bernice Branson is the daughter of Nicole Branson and a Tellarite hybrid and is affectionately known as “Bunny:”. She has been a bit of the beatnik enjoying protesting injustice in the world.

She has earned her wings as a civilian leader by being involved in the protests to prevent the Klingon Empire from being permitted to enter the Federation in early 2400. She was arrested for her interruption of the signing and the appointment of Vowelek as the Federation Vice President.

She was destined to spend her life on a Klingon Prison world when the transport ship crashed on Reykja Penthe, a former King’s Fleet colony. It is truly ironic given that her aunt Nicole Branson, a legend in civilian politics rising all the way to Federation President once was the civilian Governor of the Colony. Bunny was thrust into the role and with the help of Admiral Deveniss, she helped restore the colony to two cities and a regional fleet authority - a true success.

And then it happened…. In what was first thought to be an anomoly incident, the city of Camelot was thrust two full generations into the future creating hybrid inhabitants of Klingons and Tellarites. This, it turns out was an experiment by Section 31 to see if the very tough and gruff Tellarites merged with the war-like Klingons would create a supersoldier. It did not.

To hide the experiment and their involvement, Section 31 convinced the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire that this was a violation of the Temporal Prime Directive and should be destroyed. In what is now known as the Battle of poH or the Battle of Time, the Klingon Empire earned its first great victory in a long, long time destroying the cities of Camelot and Omega and burying the Omega Pods trapping the King’s Fleet staff beneath the surface of Reykja Penthe.

Had it not been for the arrival of the Xindi contingent whose shell technology protected the pods in the bombing, the King’s Fleet would have been a total loss. All ships were downed by the superior Klingon forces in superior numbers. Great ships like the USS Quasar Quest and the USS / CGV Tanmesad were lost in the Battle of poH. For the regional fleet authority, it was among its greatest losses.

In what is now being questioned about how given the recent discoveries around the Marker station, the Galor Class USS / CGV Tanmesad was discovered badly damaged but potentially able to fly. The Xindi Physicist Himmler Tchilack proposed detonating the thrusts from the surface and launching in a million to one shot for Delphi Ardu V.

Himmler had suggested that using the King’s Fleet history of helping the Tellarites return to prominence may be used to help the Xindi and in particular the Xindi Insectoids return to prominence. The Xindi even provided the Xindi Space Fleet Clack, a very fast Xindi warship to help rebuilding the King’s Fleet on the former Tkon Empire world. There is now some worry amongst the fleet leadership that the Xindi either participated in or were manipulated to participate in the arrival on Delphi Ardu V to re-launch the Marker, a Tkon Empire Station of supreme power for the Federation, Starfleet and Section 31 to harvest the technology from the Marker.

The Tkon Empire Artificial Intelligence known as Tkon One but having taken the Earth name Connie has now become embroiled in this relationship by fiercely defending the Marker and by extension the King’s Fleet including stealing a 2400 era Sovereign Class Starship from Starfleet; talk about making an enemy. Admiral Gabriel Moyer, Starfleet Commander in Chief is furious about these recent events

Bernice was in the Civilian Offices. The group was still cleaning up plants from the overgrowth that had occurred in god knows how long since the Tkon Empire was wiped out. She was soon joined by Ambassador Froggoth T’Luv, the Tellarite representative. The pair were soon discussing life, her betrothal to Admiral Tan, Admiral Tan’s Hierarchy Clanner appearance and chuckled about the fact that the Hierarchy do not have genitalia. The ladies were laughing loudly when the Ambassador, affectionately known as Froggy, inadvertently hugged.

Ambassador Froggoth T’Luv quickly pulled back. There was a very awkward silence when finally Bernice spoke, “My mother allegedly had a relationship with a Tellar Leporidae and that is why I am nicknamed “Bunny.”, though that is not proven.”

Froggoth looked at Bernice, “I know that your aunt Nicole had a relationship with multiple Tellarites in her life and enjoyed the pleasure of such company.”

”But what about Tan?”, Bernice looked at Froggoth. Her heart was racing with a bizarre connective anticipation.

“But what about Deveniss?”, Froggoth looked at Bernice.

”Deveniss is my protector but we are not in love.”, Bernice looked at Froggoth trying to justify here actions in her own mind.

“Tan and I are married but I was betrothed in the hopes of restoring the Tellarite influence in the Federation once more. We have played together but I do not love him.”, Froggoth announced. It was wonderful in her own mind to get it out into the open.

Bernice looked at her Tellarite colleague and then kissed her pushing her snout up. There was an immediate connection.

Where will this go? What does this mean?

Apparently, the Bunny and her Froggy are now connected…
