Rear Admiral Eugenio Coren welcomed Captain Poteat and proceeded to introduce Richard to his new Executive Officer Lt. Commander Amy Turin, a former Administrative Assistant on the Colony. Richard had brought the Archangel to the Colony virtually crew less. Richard was none to pleased when he was informed that the Romulan-Vulcan hybrid D'Solos Vreenak, the very recent Omega Academy Graduate would take over as Chief of Operations.
Eugenio showed Richard the Vulcan Migrant Worker ship and informed the Captain that his duty was to use the Archangel to carefully watch the ship and to protect it from attack.
Richard did not quite understand why the Phoenix Federation was protecting the Vulcan vessel or why the Betazoid Space Service Rear Admiral was giving him orders but he was very happy to have a command and proceeded back on to the ship with the two new officers.
D'Solos looked at Eugenio, "One more speech and then its down to business."
Eugenio had little use for the hybrid after her involvement as a runner for Cleveland Powers.
Eugenio looked at Vreenak, "We expect nothing but the best, Ensign."
Richard had hoped to meet the Vice President but with the strike and the migrant workers, she had other priorities than greeting the Archangel.
