Magenta went out to Wells City to see her father. The retired Star Fleet Community has become a heavy favorite in the Omega Cup because of its former staff. Many of them have human background and many of them have children in the Omega Academy. These young men and women help give Wells City a good team to put on the pitch. This has become the focus for Rear Admiral Eugenio Coren as he puts his reputation back together.
Coren even banned the Ishka Inflatable from the city. He wanted no part of any gambling scheme involving the Ferenginar pirate if his team is heavily favored to win the tournament. Magenta and her father went out for a meal to discuss the separation. Magenta told her father who she treated Nicole and how she reacted. Eugenio just gave his daughter a hug. Magenta felt the same warmth she felt when she hugged her mother. No one had changed. They still loved her dearly.
Eugenio looked at Magenta, "No chance this will make you want to try a traditional relationship."
Magenta laughed and kissed her father on the cheek, "It did not work out better for you."
They both shared a big laugh. Magenta got back to her room. She thought of Nicole. Magenta was a casual dressing worker and Nicole was a prima donna. She did not know how they matched up. She laughed. Her mother and father shared the same interests. They shared the same command. Still they failed.
Magenta called Nicole. She looked at the viewer, "I will be home tomorrow."
Nicole smiled, having just spent the morning with the Klingons, "Great! I miss you so much."
Magenta looked at the screen, "Nicole, quit that."
"What?", Nicole answered.
"I am Betazoid. I can read your mind.", Magenta giggled.
