John brought the Double Q around for another pass. The colony and even the Phoenix Federation relied on these flybys for security. The huge bulk that was the Dyson Sphere interfered in more than just weather and atmospheric controls but also in all monitoring of the region.
The Phoenix Federation had agreed to provide data to Starbase 185 and the United Federation of Planets as part of the agreement to allow the fledgling group to exist. In order to maintain this data stream, The King's Battlegroup continued to survey the region until Governor's Station could once again assume the role.
Major General Ferdinand Fidelis had even agreed to join the crew of the Prometheus with the tragic event of the death of Dr. Velta Varno. The marines and the Jarada had also joined the reconstruction crew on the Prometheus. The reporting needed to continue.
John looked at T'Zohl as she came onto the bridge of the Quest, "Zoey, keep the sweeps up throughout the night."
The Vulcan hated to be called that. The only one who ever got away with it was John. T'Zohl took her position on the bridge, sitting in the Captain's Chair. Giselle was at Operations when she turned to the Commander, "What is that?"
T'Zohl looked at Giselle, "On the main viewer."
The image of a small group of Tholian Fighters carefully hidden in the corona of the Dyson Sphere. Damn, as the Destiny, withdraws, they will appear in the sky poised to strike the colony. T'Zohl looked at Veltkamp, "Wake up, Captain Warren and inform the Federation Complex on the surface. Commodore Viceroy needs to be informed."
"One more thing, Giselle. Let the other ships know.", T'Zohl ordered.
