Colonel Steven Goddard came with Captain Robert E. Leo, the Caitian Chief of Police to Kalama to meet with Chikace Larle. Goddard was joined by Captain Alexander Paige who agreed to serve as the Federation Observer.
Commodore Viceroy and Nicole Branson travelled to the Klingon colony to await the infamous apology. Vincent and Nicole hated the spectacle made by General Larle upon her entrance. The Warriors of the House of Olarg wanted to make her appear as powerful as the Emperor himself on the colony.
T'Loridel entered the room to serve as witness to the apology, the key condition of the release of the Colonel Goddard. Goddard looked at Dr. Larle, "A lieutenant, a minor operations officer on a minor station, Deep Space 92. Pathetic. These Klingons continue to astound me."
"The House of M'Payel is nothing. They are the very symbol of what the Klingon Empire has become; occupying territory best given up to the Federation so that it can be ruled by honorable men and women.", Goddard mocked.
"Like yourself, I presume.", Commodore Viceroy barked back.
"This colony and its leadership, in fact the entire Phoenix Federation has lost its way. It is not about appeasing everyone. You let every damn person come here and set up shop. Hell, Hunt himself was party to S'Task and the Vulcans separating from the Federation. Foolhardy.", Goddard snapped.
Vincent glared at Goddard.
T'Loridel looked at Goddard, "You have one task here. You are to apologize for your act of aggression in accordance with the treaty between the Astronauts and the Kings. Understand."
Goddard looked the Vulcan and then at Larle, "Lieutenant Chikace Larle, Chief Medical Officer, Deep Space 92, I apologize for nothing. I am here to do one thing, prepare all colonizable planets for the United Federation of Planets. I was doing my job and doing it well."
Goddard spit in the face of General Larle. Larle, Goddard and four Klingons beamed from the room.
"What the hell?", Viceroy shouted.
Vincent tapped his combadge, "Elora, where the hell is Goddard?"
"The computer cannot locate the Colonel.", Elora responded.
Vincent was very pissed off, "Governor's Station, this is Commodore Viceroy, Locate Colonel Goddard."
Summer jumped on the comm, "Colonel Goddard is beneath the city of Rome."
"What? The Romulans helped General Larle capture the Colonel. We have a problem.", Viceroy snapped, turning to Nicole and to T'Loridel.
Vincent turned back to Paige, "I thought you had spoken to him, Captain."
"I had, Commodore. I had.", Paige frowned.
"Damn.", Vincent snapped.
"Why don't people just follow through on what they freakin' say.", Viceroy growled.
"Commander T'Loridel, arrange to meet with Commander T'Ros.", Viceroy looked at the Ambassador.
"I will need Branson's help for that.", the Vulcan responded.
"I will help you arrange the meeting.", Branson frowned. This was way off track now.
