Phillip waited for Belvedere to leave. He lay on the bed wondering what the hell he had gotten himself into. He and Bell were friends but this was a mistake. This was not who they were. This was two drinking buddies making a mistake, swept up in the magic of Nicole and Magenta.
Phillip went to the fire hall. He cleaned equipment and washed the truck thinking about what happened between him and Bell. He was trying to decide what his feelings were and what happened.
Bell went back to the barracks. He worked the staff hard today. He too struggled with what happened. He tried to understand the events; his feelings and what he needed to do.
Phillip walked over to the Commune. Mary-Lou was up and cleaning up after the Coren gala. She was wiping tables and getting ready for the next go around. Phillip looked at the beautiful leggy blond and he felt something; something come to life inside him. He was actually overjoyed to get the feeling at the site of Mary Lou. He rushed over and picked her up by the waist.
"Phillip, what's got into you?", Mary-Lou giggled. She had no idea what had actually "got into him."
Soon Phillip and Mary-Lou were going at it big time on the floor of the Commune. Phillip needed this.
Colonel Belvedere Brown walked into RICKS. He liked to go in there. It was a much more adult environment. Bell sat down, still hating what had happened. Erica Lavigne walked in, her hair slicked back. She sat down at the bar down from Bell. The Antican Marine looked at her, "Tough day."
"I work for Cleveland Powers. What do you think?", Erica frowned.
"Barkeep, a couple of stiff ones.", Bell smiled, sliding down the bar. The pair shared their tales of whoa. Soon Bell and Erica were in a Veltkamp Village Hotel Room. Bell had spent last night with a male; worse yet a male Caitian. He had betrayed his most basic instincts.
Erica and Bell went at it big time. Bell was reborn in the incident.
Bell left in the morning before Erica even got up. She was still exhausted from their lovemaking. Bell walked into BLACK only to fnd his friend sitting with Mary-Lou and Bobbi-Lee having coffee. He was about to leave.
Phillip hollered, "Bell, come and join us for a coffee."
The marine was worried that their event had ruined their relationship. He wandered over smiling. Soon the four were laughing and joking as if nothing happened.
Phillip and Bell left together. Phillip looked at Bell, "Friends."
"Forever.", Brown smiled.
