Mary-Lou Cole has made her fame throughing these amazing Galas on the colony so when Vincent decided to put on an event to celebrate the achievements of Captain Phillip Lexington at Osaka, he went to see the Commune owner.
There were fears that Mary-Lou would not be interested in the event since she and Captain Lexington have a history. Mary-Lou was only too happy to celebrate the achievements of Captain Lexington.

Phillip Lexington arrives with Colonel Belvedere Brown. Bell quickly saw some marine friends and disappeared into the crowd. Phillip was able to mingle and accept the praise he deserved.
Christine T'Nley arrived with Cole Porter. She had been working virtually non-stop since the fires of Osaka began. She just wanted an evening of quiet. She and Cole had spent a lovely Sunday together. This was a celebration and not something worthy of coverage by ONN.
Acrylos Teero arrived with Hyla Teero. This was a difficult debut for them because Laaker Teero is considered part of the heroic effort to stop the fires of Osaka and now his estranged wife is at the gala with his brother. Acrylos and Hyla did not to draw any attention to each other so they sat in the corner away from everyone.
Bill Clinton arrived with Commander Elora Vasa. Bill went over to sit with Acrylos. Acrylos had worked closely with the Omega Sands Expert to try to cap the Fire Situation. Bill and Elora held hands. Bill had been very afraid for their relationship every since his temporal review of her history with Commander Cole Russo aboard the USS Blackhawk.
Nicole arrived late. She brought Orchid Coren-Branson with her. Orchid was reluctant to attend and shunned everyone. She sat in the corner. She just wanted to go back to her child. She barely spoke to Nicole.
Nicole walked over to shake hands with Phillip. She kissed him on the cheek and told him to take care of Bell. She often took care of Bell's son. Phillip smiled and promised to do just that.
Nicole stood next to Vincent, "Thank you for doing this."
Vincent held hands with Bobbi-Lee, "My pleasure."
Nicole went back to her table. She and Orchid sat quietly. There was a lot of work to do for them to even be just friends.
