"John, what was that?", T'Zohl looked at Warren.
"What was what?", John walked on to the bridge for the change of shift.
Giselle replayed the power grid used to show power draws within the Task Group, "Something just happened to the Prometheus."
John had asked that all vessels be closely monitored after the Archangel incident. He took his role as Task Group Commander very seriously.
"Veltkamp, contact the Prometheus. Inform them of the situation.", John ordered.
"Captain Branson, can you identify the source of the massive power draw?", John asked, looking at the Borg Disconnect on the viewer.
"As near as can be determined by my engineer, something technological booted up, but we thus far have no clue other than the warning message.", Tania responded.
"Search the ship.", John ordered.
Tania and the crew of the Wrath of Prometheus began a thorough search for the problem.
John looked at Giselle, "Inform the War Room. Tell Elora to scan from the surface."
No sooner did John get the words out when he received the message from Admiral Veltkamp. The Federation is reported several problems with the DRS. They don't want to come out and say it was related to the download of Prometheus data but are asking for advice.
John looked at T'Zohl, "Thoughts, Number One?"
The beautiful Vulcan grinned, "Let them stew. We don't know either."
John smiled, "I like your way of thinking."
Autumn Laree is a former Marine who served in the Cardassian Guard and Betazoid Defence Force. She is not apt to lie or exaggerate. She is a fine officer and a good friend. She is calm, cool and collected.
When Autumn screams, the universe quakes. The Prometheus Comm filled with the horror of a Betazoid shreak as Autumn saw the red transluscence for the first time.
Tania yelled at her love, "What is it?"
"Ghost... I think I have seen a ghost.", Autumn squealed.
Tania turned to Cujo, "Scan the area of Commander Laree."
Shepard, the Antican student looked at Branson, "It appears to be a hologram, ma'am."
"A hologram of what?", Tania retorted.
"It appears to be an AI.", Cujo had learned of such things in the Omega Academy.
"The Phoenix Fleet does not authorize the use of artificial intelligence.", Tania snapped.
"The Tanmesad had CANDI.", Cujo looked up.
"And look at the trouble she caused.", Tania growled.
"Close off those decks.", Tania ordered.
Autumn tapped her combadge, "The AI is able to pass through the force field."
Tania looked at Autumn, "Is this a first contact scenario?"
Cujo looked at Tania, "The AI is classified technology activated by William Hunt and his wife Amanda. The AI is known within the Phoenix Fleet."
"Do we understand how this occurred?", Tania asked.
"It appears to be activated in defence after the United Federation of Planets download.", Cherry answered.
"What's the next course of action?", Tania looked at her crew.
"Right now, the Prometheus remains in wait and see mode.", Autumn walked onto the bridge.
"Let just hope she takes care of my ship.", Tania smiled.
"Inform Captain Warren of our non-interference approach. Ensign Shepard, track that damn thing. I wanna know where she is at all times.", Tania ordered.
Caleb and Alexander often played cards in the evening to pass the time on the DRS. Faulkner and Paige would activate the holodeck and set the scene in a old world casino. The music would play and they would would play some blackjack.
Caleb laughed as the dealer dealt a couple of cards face down, an Ace came up. He turned over his card, the Red Queen. Alexander stood up, "What the hell?"
Alexander turned over his card, "A Queen of Hearts."
"Computer record error. The cards are doubled.", Paige ordered.
The dealer turned over all the cards. All red queens...
Alexander looked at Caleb, "What the hell?"
