In Vulcan We Trust... Empty
PostSubject: In Vulcan We Trust...   In Vulcan We Trust... EmptyMon Apr 04, 2011 7:24 pm

The Retarnee's push for Earth was only successful because of the element of surprise. Admiral Dominic Montgomery fail to identify the attacks on the Phoenix Colony as a test project and the destruction of the USS Apollo as a movement towards greater expansion. Montgomery failed to inform Star Fleet Intelligence of the potential for a blitzkreig assualt into the Alpha Quadrant.

For that he paid with his rank and his honor, the Retarnee rushed by Starbase 234 without warning. Evidence now shows the Romulan Empire may have had inside information which would have shown the potential for a Retarnee attack but failed to warn the United Federation of Planets to weaken their ability to continue expansion into the Beta Quadrant. The Retarnee have large freighter class ships that make the Dark Phoenix look like a bi-plane. They are able to move fighters across great distances and now they occupy the primary planets of the Alpha Quadrant.

On Vulcan, preparations are being made to prevent a move towards Vulcan. Most Vulcans believe that they are next. The USS Washington, the USS Quasar Quest and the USS Eagle lead the Black Dragon Battlegroup into the outer realms of Betazed. This is a time for an offence and not to defend Vulcan or the other planets in the Alpha Quadrant.

Commander T'Zohl did the honorable thing. She accepted a demotion to the First Officer position on the Quasar Quest. To quote the logical Vulcan, there must be a clear designation as to whom is the senior officer aboard the Double Q. T'Zohl knew what any further loses could mean for Vulcan. She was bound and determined to prevent such a defeat.

Seeing the Straninburg Fleet so far from the homeworld in the Beta Quadrant, the King's Battlegroup finally had an opportunity to inflict some damage. T'Zohl has been the very best pilot in Star Fleet, in the Phoenix Fleet, in the King's Battlegroup. She had been out of the pilot's chair for far too long. Being in the position of power on the big bird, the sovereign famously known as the USS Quasar Quest made her feel as she once felt, all powerful. The Quest dove on the Straninburg Carrier and began to inflict heavy damage.

Dawn Keystone has a deep loyalty to John Warren. He helped her become an officer. He helped her become a lady. Dawn finally had an opportunity to repay the favor. Every Vulcan from the homeworld to the Phoenix Federation knew what further losses were meant. Commander S'Nii's reputation has been sullied on the colony. She has had difficulty following orders. She scuttled the USS Archangel. She has been removed from command on three seperate occassions but today she and Lindsay sat side by side on the USS Eagle at the helm of the Miranda engaging the burning Straninburg carrier. S'Nii joined Commander T'Zohl as Vulcan's reputation was restored as a protector of the United Federation of Planets.

In recent memory, Vulcan has been exposed as the weak step sister all too content to live on past glory. Today, Vulcan is represented by two of its finest. Two women who had to leave for the Phoenix Federation in order to have the freedom to represent Vulcan today.

Admiral Illyan Coren and Admiral Alexander Laree confirmed the liberation of Corinthian Station when the Zombies, the unit of Major Zoe Beamon boarded the station from the USS Wrath of Prometheus. Samantha Hunt joined her father's legacy as a great liberator when she stood with Illyan Coren on the Observation Deck of the famous Betazoid Station. William would have been so proud of his beloved. The red queen will be forever honored by the Betazoid people for being the first representative of the Phoenix Federation on the ground at Betazed.

Commander T'Zohl looked at John, "I never thought I would see the day when the United Federation of Planets Flag would fly on this bridge again."

John smiled, "Never say never."

T'Zohl looked at John, "In Vulcan we trust..."

"Ambassador Sarok would be proud today.", John saluted his first officer.
